Jared Crebs started playing guitar at the age of 14. His first influences were Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, and Led Zeppelin. He decided to go professional while completing his jazz degree at the University of North Texas.
During this time he has performed and taught many different styles of music: including jazz, blues, classical, flamenco, classic rock, hard rock, country, alternative, and fingerpicking. In addition, he spent one year in Spain studying with flamenco master Carlos Del Rio.
Jared currently lives in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area where he does solo guitar concerts, leads the Jared Crebs Jazz Trio, and performs in various bands. He also teaches private lessons to aspiring guitarists of all ages and backgrounds.
